the Space

The Projects is the featured exhibition space in FATVillage, Fort Lauderdale's Arts District. Built in the 1950s, this hanger-like space 8,000 square feet and features raw exposed concrete, cinderblock, piping and electrical work, and a domed wooden ceiling with steel support beams. The space regularly accommodates huge art installations and events, and is the main feature of the Fat Village ArtWalks. ArtWalks are from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM on the last Saturday of each Month.

The Projects 

 

This space is 10,000 sq feet of raw, open warehouse space. It can accommodate work up to 19 ft in height. Materials we can supply for installation,s exhibitions and events are: projectors, lighting, scaffolding, and more.  The space is also equipped with reconfigurable floating walls.  Please contact us with any questions.

FATVillage

FATVillage Arts District is located in downtown Fort Lauderdale and populated with artist’s studios, galleries & other creative businesses, spanning 4 blocks from NW 6th St. on the north, to 4th Street & from N. Andrews to the railroad tracks on the west side.
